Welcome to Snappers on Straddie, a boutique 5 unit complex in the heart of Point Lookout. Newly renovated, each unit feels private and has a queen bedroom, bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open plan living/dining with a futon couch and air conditioning. The television is a smart TV and is connected to NBN, so just log into your favourite apps and enjoy. There is either a private deck or courtyard with your own outdoor seating and a BBQ with a lovely leafy outlook. At the front of the property there is a communal laundry with washing machine and dryer, a storage area for the surf boards and beach toys as well as an outdoor hot/cold shower for guests to rinse off after a day at the beach. Keep an eye out for the resident koala's in the tree in the front yard.

Positioned opposite a bus stop and an easy walk to all beaches and local shops, you won’t need to bring the car. There is a pedestrian gate to the right of the property that provides access to an easement which leads to Frenchman’s and Deadman’s Beach via the Whale Track. If you are wishing to park a vehicle, street parking is available. Please keep the driveway clear at all times to ensure safe and easy passage for guests in and out of the property gates.

We had a very relaxing 3 night stay at Snapper 4.
Booking the property was simple, an email gave us clear instructions on how to access the property, check in and check out times, how to get assistance if required.
The unit is light and airy, air conditioning cooled the unit quickly when we needed it.
All the furniture was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable.
The kitchen is basic, but everything you need for a short stay. We discovered we only had one large plate, so while we were nearby we stopped in at Ray White to let them know. When we returned there were 3 plates waiting for us.
The location is excellent, although you are on the main road, traffic noise is not a problem. It is close to the inbound and outbound bus stops. Halfway between Cylinder Beach and the headland. Everything was within an easy walk.
Agreat stay.

2nd time at Snapper Units. Very clean and well set up for short or long stays. Real estate was very helpful with early check in as we arrived early. 9 am checkout too early. Rental price too high. Handy to bus stops and walk to Gorge

This unit was great! It had everything that we needed. It did have wi-fi and air-conditioning which was a bonus! Bus stop right across the road was very handy as we didn’t have a vehicle. Would stay here again!

Our stay at Snapper Units was great, very comfy for a 4 night stay. The unit was well furnished & equipped with all the essentials. We had 2 koalas in the gum tree only about 2-3 metres outside our bedroom window, such a special & surprising experience!

Great - easy access via pass-code ie no key to lose! Basic but fine for 2 days sightseeing

Snapper Unit 4 is in a good location, easy walking to Frenchman's beach, Gorge walk and Main beach, 10 mins walking to Blue Room cafe, Loaves at the Point bakery, Fishes restaurant, gelati bar and small supermarket, and a short bus ride to Cylinder. Stradbroke Island Bus stops are conveniently nearby, so no worries if you don't arrive by car. The buses run a regular and reliable service.

Unit was generally well-maintained and very clean on arrival. Kitchen has a good range of cups, plates, cutlery, pans etc to allow for some self-catering along with appliances (toaster, coffee pod machine, microwave). Bed was comfortable and large wall-mounted TV in lounge. Air-con was not needed during stay, but noted air-con unit is in lounge area. Quality Zero Co cleaning products (kitchen/bathroom/laundry), handwash and bodywash provided. Bathroom tends to get a bit wet with water from the shower as there is no shower curtain. Property has good on-site laundry facilities (shared with other units).

Unit has an outdoor deck, great in the morning and evening, but catches the full sun in the afternoon. Bedroom faces the road, but only occasional vehicle noise at night. Property where unit is located has a short but slightly steep driveway entrance that some people may find difficult.

Ray White Team were great with the communication, and arrival / departure was easy. Great, relaxing place to stay, and hope to visit again.
