I have stayed here before and the property is just as described
The only negative was the mould on the roof in the bathroom

The apartment was so Open and spacious and super nice! It is in such a good location where you are able to easily walk to the pub or restaurant down the road.

We love the Islander complex and this one bedroom apartment was nicely renovated. We had a great stay.

We loved this spot. Minor improvements could be made but overall a satisfactory little AirBNB. Great value for money.

Great spot. Unit needs some maintenance. Rail in bedroom cupboard loose. No handle on sliding fly screen.3 floor a problem with having to climb stairs.

Location was fantastic for beach & shops, unit was clean and comfortable with great amenities. Will absolutely be coming back.

Excellent value for money! Apartment was very tidy but was a bit dusty. While there wasn't a sea view (which I knew on booking) I could hear the ocean from the balcony which was lovely. No wifi code in sight (maybe I missed it) and I didn't have reception on my mobile for the weekend which was nice but I did have some work I needed to attend to. I would stay here again :)

Highly recommend both this property and Ray White Stradbroke. The apartment was modern and comfortable (although aircon in the bedroom would help, or repair the ceiling fan) and we appreciated the pool. Good location and Ray White were fantastic. So helpful and sorted out any issues ASAP

Unit 23 At The Islander is a 1 bedroom unit on the third floor. There isn’t a lift so you need to be fit enough to use the stairs. It is tastefully decorated, well presented and equipped, clean and tidy. It is perfectly located within easy walking distance to the beach and local attractions. It would be great to have a fly screen on the bedroom so it can be opened at night as it can get a bit warm for sleeping with only the fan in the hotter weather. The handwritten welcome card is a nice touch. The complex has a bbq, pool, tennis court and lovely gardens with wildlife in close proximity.

Great location, estate people were really helpful to deal with, decor of apartment was lovely. It’s needing a bit more of a deep clean though- long term dust build on top of rangehood, in bedroom floor cupboards, dead spider in kitchen jar, no spare toilet paper, a flyscreen needed on the bedroom door, no batteries in the remote so couldn’t use tv at all.

Fantastic Stay with beautifully renovated property with modern finishes. Very refreshing with the tennis Cory facilities and pool in summer.

The accommodation was ok and had its issues, but that was quickly rectified and managed by the real-estate and did an outstanding job. Made my stay a lot more relaxing. Thank you Ray White.

The property was very nicely renovated and nice furnished. It was well kept and clean.
We enjoyed the stay and the facility were really nice like the tennis court and swimming pool. The location is perfect.


Few suggestions:

The bedroom does not have air conditioning and it gets really hot.
The bedroom does not have any mosquito screen so you can not open the window to let some air passing and without air conditioning it was vert hot.

The sofa bed was quite stained and dirty. It will do with a good cleaning.

The wardrobe was full of staffs and rather messy so we could not hang our clothes.

The bedsheets were stained. Clean but stained. May be provide some feedback to the cleaning company?

The electricity went off during our second night and it was a bit of an hassle to get it up and running again.

The unit was in an excellent position on the island. Close to the Beach, Bowls Club and the best restaurant on the island. The unit was well equipped with all the items you need. The unit looked great from the pictures but the lounge was very uncomfortable, the kitchen chairs scrapped on the floor like nails on a black board. The shower sprayed water over the walls instead of on the person having a shower. The balcony was tiny with a rusty table and one rusty chair. To get to the unit you had to climb 50 steps. My husband is 72 and has COPD and found it extremeley difficult each day.

There was pink mould in the shower. The shower head needs replacing. It sprayed water everywhere. There was no switch for the lounge room fan. Oven was dirty. No air con in the bedroom.
But it was a great location. Nice tidy unit. Just needs some maintenance to bring it up to speed

23 The Islandler was a perfect stay for myself and my partner. Only downside was the 3 flights of stairs to go up and down. Nice relaxing area along the main strip not far from everything.

23 The Islander is a light, bright, modern, well appointed apartment on 3rd floor with nice fresh air breezes. It’s very quiet and peaceful and wish we had more time to spend there. Would recommend.

Ray White went above and beyond by helping us and collecting the linen for us when we were car-less on the island during Cyclone Oma.

What a beautiful little room. Very clean and I would give the cleaner a job forever if she/he would move to Victoria where I run a cleaning business. Loved the pullout sofa bed which was comfortable. Unfortunately there is no blanket for it and so we had to scrounge around in the car for a sleeping bag. The linen is not included. You have to hire it and make up the beds yourself. There is no sugar, old tea, no coffee and no UHT milk on hand. If these issues were resolved I would recommend it to everyone
