Welcome to "My Island Home", a family home in a bush setting in central Point Lookout.
Set back off the street surrounded by native trees and plants, you will have peace and quiet making for a very comfortable holiday.
Beaches, cafes, shops, hotel and bus stops are all close by, so leaving the car in the tandem carport and walking everywhere is an option.
This property offers a well equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, electric oven and gas cooktop, dishwasher and microwave. There is a top loading washing machine and clothes dryer in the laundry.
The main bedroom with a king size bed, air conditioning and an ensuite, the second bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 way family bathroom are all on the entry level. The well planned kitchen, dining and lounge which open onto the BBQ balcony are also on this level. Upstairs on a mezzanine floor that looks down into the living room is a single bed and office desk where you can work from home away from the activity downstairs. Also on this floor is a spacious queen bedroom with lounge chairs and TV. All of the bedrooms and main living area have ceiling fans.

comfortable home and we enjoyed our stay. air con in other bedrooms would have been good as it was hot and we were a bunch of menopausal women :) would be good to have big sign at bottom of driveway, we went up the wrong one at first but met a friendly neighbour who assisted us. the flyscreen in the master bedroom fell off the window needs fixing. had a great weekend close to beach and walked to breakfast. thank you

Newly renovated and central location to Main, Cylinder and Little Gorge! Perfect for families!
Great stay at My Island Home, great location walking distance to beach and shops. House was spacious. Cleaning needs work - floor was not vacuumed properly and there ware pieces of glass in upstairs bedroom. Kitchen needs a spring clean, cupboards were cluttered needed a wipe out. Basic provisions like toilet paper and bin bags were not left (one bin liner in bin, no spares in cupboard, no toilet paper to begin stay). With the exorbitant price you would expect these to be a given. Also, it was inconvenient having to return the keys to the real estate Dropboxat checkout when we could have just left them in the drop box on the property as is the process with most other air bnbs.
