Welcome to "My Island Home", a multi level 4 bedroom and office (with single bed) family home in a bush setting in central Point Lookout. With new paint and furniture in September 2022 and set back off the street surrounded by native trees and plants, everything is bright and fresh making for a very comfortable holiday.
Beaches, cafes, shops, hotel and bus stops are all close by, so leaving the car in the tandem carport and walking everywhere is an option.
This property offers a well equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, electric oven and gas cooktop, dishwasher and microwave. There is a top loading washing machine and clothes dryer in the laundry.
The main bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite, 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 way family bathroom are all on the entry level. The well planned kitchen, dining and lounge which open onto the BBQ balcony are also on this level. Step out onto the balcony and downstairs, you will find another queen size bedroom. This room has its own balcony Upstairs on a mezzanine floor that looks down into the living room is a single bed and office desk where you can work from home away from the activity downstairs. Also on this floor is a spacious queen bedroom with lounge chairs and TV.

* If Wifi is offered it is a complimentary extra. As there is no charge, issues will be dealt with ASAP but cannot be guaranteed.
* To ensure the comfort of guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for ''Schoolies'' breaks/under 21 yrs groups.

* This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

We were pretty disappointed that our original booking was cancelled so we had to book a different house. "My Island Home" was fine. Ok, it didn't have a pool like the original booking but the worst thing was it had no wifi. There was no phone reception at the property either so we were totally cut off from all communications. Not fine for teenagers in the rain.

House is nicely decorated with good breezes through many windows and good screens. However, there is only air con in one bedroom. The upstairs bedroom gets very hot and has no air con or ceiling fan, making it extremely uncomfortable. In total 3 pedestal fans were provided for 4 sleeping spaces and a living room.
House was a great size for 5 adults and 4 toddlers. Very well equipped kitchen. Master bedroom smelt a bit mouldy - I had to clean mould off the drawers in the cupboard.
Too far to walk to the beach so we drove. The driveway up to the house is VERY steep and curving so be warned.
We would come back if they air conditioned the upstairs. Owners please take this on board!

comfortable home and we enjoyed our stay. air con in other bedrooms would have been good as it was hot and we were a bunch of menopausal women :) would be good to have big sign at bottom of driveway, we went up the wrong one at first but met a friendly neighbour who assisted us. the flyscreen in the master bedroom fell off the window needs fixing. had a great weekend close to beach and walked to breakfast. thank you
