We had a great time staying here with our two young kids.
The interior has been done up really nicely for an older place and the front courtyard was totally enclosed so being on the Main Street was of no concern. Close to everything and really well priced, would highly recommend!

A comfortable holiday shack in a central location to beach & walking tracks. Comfortable bed & good shower.
Light & airy feel although front french doors difficult to open.
Good services but television wasn't connecting...only wanted to watch some Olympic Games

We loved our stay at Frogmouth. The house is very cute, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We were surprised how well equipped the kitchen was for cooking - sharp knives and all the basics we needed. The beds were comfortable and we didn’t find the location to be particularly noisy despite the main road location, which was central and excellent for a quick walk to a couple of beaches.
This is not a fancy, high tech house and perhaps some other reviewers needed to manage their expectations. It’s old, imperfect but authentic and stylish. It looks like a house that is still used by the owners with some nice furniture and all the basics considered and provided. We hope to come back regularly and repeat our simple beach holiday experience.

We really enjoyed staying at the house. It’s a basic fibro shack which is what we expected. We stayed there with our two kids. The single beds are low which was perfect for the kids to climb onto. It was great that the front veranda could be closed in and the front yard doesn’t have a fence, so the kids could play on the deck. Beautiful light into the house and great walking distance to the beaches.

Frogmouth is a classic Straddie ‘shack’ in a very convenient location, an easy walk to Deadman’s, Cylinder, the pub and Bob’s shop.
The new owners have cleaned the place up well.
It would suit young families on a budget, but be aware the wifi and TV reception can be patchy and there’s no dishwasher.
My only suggestions for improvement are more subtle lighting in the living area and a fence to the road, which is busy by Straddie standards.

it was a great place to stay
This is an old style fibro beach shack with some slap dash building maintenance and alterations. It's like a nostalgic trip back quite a few decades. The property was clean and tidy, it is in a very convenient location in a beautiful part of the world.
