Perfect location - easy walk to Deadmans, Frenechman's, Cylinder, Point Lookout, the Pub and local store. Very relaxing stay. Spent time relaxing on the outside deck. Lots of different zones for different family members. Will be back. Thank you Coberay.

Been to Coberay for many years. Great location close to beach and Foodworks. House is comfortable and we are able to take our dog.
Stove is getting very old and reluctant to heat up some burners. Obviously there is not enough time for all the cleaning needed but the gardens are lovely and we keep coming back.

Location was great. Upstairs shower wasn't amazing and hot water tap was boiling hot that my son burned his back and got a couple blisters. Other than that, it was good and I do recommend this place.

We always enjoy staying at Straddie in Winter. The weather was beautiful... some windy, blustery days and nights, and some of those beautiful big blue sky days.
Coberay is a perfect house for having family come and stay. Great location, clean, comfortable, with everything we need.
We saw heaps of whales.
And the people on the island are wonderful, friendly, relaxed and laidback.
A unique place to stay, and our family has been visiting Straddie for years.

Best house in best location nearly always booked.
Have stayed at Coberay many times over the years.
Sad to see house so unloved. It was dirty on arrival.
Bedcovers not fresh or washed.
Sand and fluff under beds and in corners.Shower not clean
House needs maintenance, paint, broken railings etc.
Clearly cleaners don’t have time to clean between guests.
I have noticed this over past few years stay.
Because I love Straddie I still come. Have holidayed there for 67years.

We have been coming to Coberay for many years and it is a comfortable house in a very good location. Being pet friendly I could take my dog and went for long walks on the beach.
There are usually a few minor cleaning issues such as the kitchen windows and fly screens needing a good clean but as the property is so popular there is probably never a free time for a deep clean.
The other qualities of the house make up for small issues like that.
There had been a refurbish since we were last there in 2019.

Coberay is a great house and we stay here every year. Location is great. House is always clean and in good condition. Short walks to beaches and pub. Lots of whales. Beautiful island. Management seamless and efficient. Our dog loves it too.

We had such a great stay at Coberay. Great location, walking distance for a small child to cylinder and Deadmans beach. Great wrap around deck that is fully gated so our young daughter was safe. Kitchen has everything you need. The only negative is the bedrooms are quite hot and only have standing fans that are dusty.

Been going to Coberay for around 25 years and always enjoy it. We stayed downstairs this year and upstairs last year. Last year we had no aircon for the whole week and this year, no dishwasher. Things happen I understand but expecting us to just cop it with no concession is a little disappointing. Also, the cooking equipment downstairs needs looking at. Virtually no baking equipment at all, and a small skillet. The electric frypan is really bad. I took a pic that I'll send you.

Beautiful house, beautiful quiet location close to everything, beautiful yard fully fenced so dog could not escape. Tall trees made it very private. Very comfortable accommodation.

We've been staying here for 25 years and seen many changes. Disappointed the aircon wasn't working and nobody advised us even though Ray White knew prior to us arriving. Wasted a lot of my time and no offer of any consideration for sweltering for the week

Like home from home

Have been holidaying at Straddie for many years but first time staying at Coberay. We like this area as two beaches and Foodworks are in walking distance so everyone can come and go as they please. The last few years we have stayed at Quarterdeck across the road but this year our family numbers had grown with a one year old grandson and a 'fur' baby so Coberay was perfect. The property is fully fenced with a lovely private backyard and well kept garden. The house has a great wrap around deck with gates and plenty of seating, bbq and dining area. Coberay is an older property but very solid and homely - perfect for two families. If not walking the beautiful beaches, sitting on the deck with a good book is a must.

My wife and I and our son’s family (including 2 young grandchildren) rented Coberay for a week. We’ve stayed there multiple times because it is so well maintained and set up, spacious, has lovely outdoor verandahs, an enclosed yard for the children to play, allows pets and is in a wonderful location on the beach side of the road close to Deadmans and Cylinder beaches and the beginning of the beauriful Whale Walk trail which takes you to the Point Lookout George walk. Faboulus viewings of whales breaching, pods of dolphins, turtles and sighting wallabies and sometimes a koala en route.

A lovely well-kept house in a terrific location. Quiet street and easy beach access. Well kept gardens. Nicely furnished. Easy to relax in. Appreciated the opportunity to accommodate our dog.

We had such a lovely time in this house - the veranda had sun all day which was just divine during winter. The location was great, we did not need a car at all.
